Jazz music of the 60’s. Names such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Joe Henderson. This time period is for Nitin Parree (1996) one of the most interesting and revolutionary in jazz history. Here all the earlier jazz styles came together and formed what is known as post- bop: hard-bop with free-jazz elements and a lot of individualism.
This period of time is where Nitin Parree takes his inspiration from and that got him into jazz music in the first place. Striving for the balance between swing and free-jazz elements is what is most interesting to him.

Daniel Sueiro Trio
- Daniel Sueiro – Piano
- Arjun Ramdas – Double Bass
- Nikiforos Bournousouzis – Drums
The Daniel Sueiro Trio explores the road paved by the great jazz piano trios from the past, using this vast and rich musical language as a springboard for their own creativity and self- expression. Founded in 2021 in The Hague, The Netherlands, by pianist Daniel Sueiro, bassist Arjun Ramdas, and drummer Nikiforos Bournousouzis, the trio believes it is their responsibility as jazz artists to explore and share with the audience the beauty hidden within this vast pool of musical knowledge. At the same time, they are looking into the present and adding their own vision and personal touch to the music. Some of their major contemporary references include Benny Green, Bill Charlap, Dan Nimmer, Mike LeDonne or Emmet Cohen.
The intimacy fostered by the small setting of the piano trio allows them to focus on the interplay between the three instruments, on interlocking and sounding as one single voice, as well as on playing with empty space and letting the music breathe. They develop and explore the full potential of the piano, conceived in an orchestral way, featuring passages that range from very minimalistic textures to a full, almost big band- like sound, all supported to the millimeter by the precise, subtle, and solid foundation provided by bass and drums.

In 1988 he joined a pop band, in which his fellow saxophonist Ruud de Vries also played. The two hung out together and formed various bands over the years and mainly became known under the name Kiers and de Vries. In 2002 he played with this group at the North Sea Jazz Festival. A year earlier, Kiers already played at the famous festival with The Blue Moon Special. In 2000 he replaced fellow tenorist Boris van der Lek during a tour through Japan with Hans Dulfer. In 2005 he played with the Hague Beatnach band for 400,000 people at the Parkpop festival in The Hague. In the period 2005 – 2015 he made quite a name for himself with his sax rock band Blood Sweat & Kiers. Today, Wouter Kiers is a sought-after tenor saxophonist who can play in a variety of styles. He moves like a chameleon in the diversity of music styles that come his way and which he never avoids. The Wouter Kiers Quartet is his jazz swing line-up.
